I know it is 6 am and I should be waking up the kids for school. I just need a few moments of peace and quiet before I do so. I have had some bad nights lately and do not get much rest. There is nothing peaceful or restful about waking up several times a night with anxiety attacks.
Once I got them to stop and fell asleep, Ella woke up with nightmares. Once she was calmly sleeping between Daniel and I, it took me awhile to get rid of the anxiety again. About an hour later, Daniel Jr. woke up and came into the bed. So I figure that between the anxiety and feet pummeling my back, I got a good two hours of sleep. I look like crap warmed over this morning. I feel like it too.
Ahhhhh...the joys of being an insane mother! I'm off to pour myself some more coffee. Don't forget to watch The Flush vlog posts today, over at Posh Parent!

I'm sorry. Did you look at your to do list yesterday afternoon? Lovie, I don't have a history of anxiety attacks or 7 children but if I was tackling your plate I'm pretty sure I'd vomit - often and a lot!! But you should give yourself a really big high five because you are holding up like a duck on a pond. Perfectly calm and entertaining on the surface even though your paddling away underneath. You just made my superhero list - again!
You need a nanny...or a teenage girl to help u...my god young lady you have too much on ur plate.
I'm sorry girlie! Hope you get a better nights sleep tonight. I always read, that helps me fall asleep faster. :) Oh and Valarian root is a great body relaxer too. And it's natural *wink*.
Hope you got a better night's sleep last night. Panic and anxiety are awful, I know. Prayers are with you!
Side note: I wake up every 2 hours or so throughout the night these days, but it's because I have to pee so much. The joys of being pregnant.
