If you look at me, I am my mother. We have the same eyes, nose, hair, facial structure and body type. Look a little closer and get to know me, however, and I am my dad to the very core. Here are some examples:
- We both love to cook
- We both only clean because we have to
- We both love the arts, painting, drawing...anything creative
- We are very sensitive
- We are nurterers
- We are little kids in grown up bodies
- We love junk food (especially chocolate!)
- We both are attracted to men (ha! Just thought I'd throw that one in :)
- We have gypsie in our blood (We thrive on being free spirits)
- We love the outdoors and being in the elements
- We are spontaneous and irrational
- We let our hearts lead us
- We love animals and always want to have pets
- We write poetry
- We are jokers. We love to make people laugh!
I am seeing, as I grow older, that the man who I held a grudge against for so long, is me. He is so much of who I am and even though he left and chose a different life, I am still his daughter. I see so much of him in me that I cannot rightfully be angry at him, because I know how it feels to be a free spirit (not in the sexual way for me though) and live a life that does not allow for freedom and fancy. So I paint and I sing and I have my own little world of fancy that I call my own and so far...that has kept me happy! I am not like my daddy in one way: I see my marriage as a life long bond and feel lucky to be married to my spouse. So I will keep my free spirited rebellion to my art, my songs and my blogging :)

I think that is so neat that you recognized all of that.
What a fun list!
I think you and your beautiful sisters are the best of two wonderful worlds.
