D: So...what nut ball thing did you do today, to get votes?
K: Mmmmmm....nothing.
D: (with a "oh come on" look on his face) No really...what did you do?
K: I don't wanna show you.
D: That bad, huh?
K: You always make fun of my singing so...
D: Singing? Oh geez. Let's see it...
K: Nope.
(He grabs the laptop and opens the blog. A few seconds into the song, he closes it.)
D: I've seen enough. You are a total cheese ball. What is singing supposed to accomplish in this contest?
K: Well, I figured two things...people will either see how compelled I am to win with my crazy antics or they will feel so sorry that I am devoid of all good sense that normal people have. That way, I get the votes of confidence and pity!
D: I pity the people who click on the play button of your video clip.
K: I pity you. You fall asleep first and I can be a very creatively cruel person.
(We really do love each other, folks. Just not in that mushy sweet talk kind of way!)
P.S. I'm going to send him the article that notes Tom Cruise's praise for his wife Katie's Broadway performance, "It was extraordinary." You know...just to show him that husband's are supposed to say nice things about their wives' endeavors. (Even if they sound like a cat in pain.)
