Crappy Tuesday! That's right...I said crappy. That's because I get to take Phillip in to see the dentist. He cracked his front tooth and it is now bleeding on the inside. I should be feeling sorry for him but I am too blinded by huge dollar signs. We have crappy dental insurance and pay out of pocket to see a good dentist. To make matters worse, my kids have the weakest enamel I've ever seen!
So we will be forking out big bucks today, for the dentist to yank the tooth that will probably be coming out this year anyway. I have a good mind to find a pair of pliers, give him a shot of Jim Beam and yank that sucker myself! But that would be wrong....and illegal. So I won't.
Now I'm really wishing that the tooth fairy was real because I cannot afford to keep shoveling out money for pulled teeth! Phillip just may get a celery stick under his pillow with a note that says, "I don't pay for damamged teeth!" I'm kidding, of course. But if you think about how many pulled teeth we have to pay all 7 kids for, it is mind boggling! The tooth fairy needs a raise.

no, i have the weakest enamel ever. In fact, i dont have any at all. I am prone to about...50 cavities a year? Its bad. I have suffered for it since I wa sa kid. I have to have veneers in a few years.

You know my horrible dental story with the hubby's teeth. I cold be buying a new car with his dental bill and we have insurance! WTF??
Trisha, you are lucky that you can get veneers! My husband has SUPER weak enamel and veneers are not even an option because the enamel is so weak. :(
I hope Phillip is OK and I will play the lotto tonight--I am feeling lucky!
Sorry! My son also has weak enamel. Poor guy has to have dental work done as well. I hope Phillip is feeling better and it wasn't too much!

I totally feel your pain on this one. I told my son last week actually we werent pulling his tooth because the tooth fairy was broke ROFL! Someone had the bright idea that silver teeth (ones with caps) were $5 a piece. Well he lost 3 last WEEK!!
The dentist sucks, we just went through too many appointments to count, I don't know why they just don't do it all at once like they did when we were kids. She was high on laughing gas she wouldn't know the difference its all a con for more money. Of course I hate the dentist from my past as a kid.
