Okay...for those of you who missed the first airing of our family's dirty laundry on Supernanny and wish to see it so that you can feel much better about your own skeletons, you may do so next Wednesday at 9pm PST.
I'm not going to reiterate how overjoyed I was after the first airing and the public response to our episode (can you sense the sarcasm?)
Here is the link to our clips. I'm not sure if the link still works:

If you are busy that night, plucking your nose hairs or doing other personally hygienic activities and cannot watch the show, my feelings will not be hurt. Watch it...don't watch it. I don't care. Just don't call my house and stalk me like the crazy lady did after the first time around. Thanks.

Is that you in the clip? It doesn't look like you at all! It's a woman with platinum blonde hair!
I know many people who missed the first time around who would love to see it this time. I hope the crazy people stay away this time! :)

Because I really could give a crap now. I had several readers ask me to inform them of the re-airing date.
I did see the show the first time... and I never wrote to you about it. However, I do have two questions. Did Jo actually "help" you? Other than pointing out your reliance on Marlie, did she really help you and Daniel deal with your father issues? Wasn't that an odd subject for a nanny to deal with?
iluveeyore~
She did help us. The whole dad situation was edited for drama. We actually did alot more, dealing with that whole situation, than they showed.
Jo paid for my dad to fly down and spend the next weekend with us. We talked a lot and sorted out everything. It was a tremendous sense of relief and did all of our souls good.
She gave us the time out technique, which helps a lot to cut out spanking.
I still do hearts with the kids. They love it.
Yes, the dad thing was an odd twist on the show, but I think that they saw dollar signs in the whole drama of it all. Which sucks because they did not show nearly half of what we learned as parents.
dawne~
no that is not our clip. sorry it doesn't show our clip anymore. bummer.
Thanks for letting us know---I did miss it the first time around, and I was thinking it wasn't re-airing until the 26th or something. I promise, I won't stalk or anything. :) HUGS!
Hey Kadi!!
Thank you for the reminder!!!

I was just wondering when it would re-air.
I have a child who rages for dumb reasons, and we do know sort of what causes it, but we also found some amazing cures for it!
Chlorella, a seaweed type of whole food supplement, is amazing. I don't know why it works, but it works! And chiropractic helps a ton. My other kids saw a difference in 3 weeks and told him he could never stop going!
The chlorella is the cheaper option, though, and works well.
I missed the first broadcast, but I remembered to watch last night. I'm a daily lurker here at the Innsane, but I wanted to let you know that you and your family are even more beautiful than I imagined.
I related to your battle with trying to be the perfect parent because your father disappointed you as a child. My own mother struggled with mental illness when I was growing up and my father abandoned us, and I struggle daily with trying to be the "perfect parent." It was comforting to me to know that I am not alone.
I know you got a lot of negative feedback from the first broadcast, but I wanted to let you know that you are a wonderful mother and taking care of 7 kids everyday is a daunting task! At the end of the day, your kids know you love them, and in the end, that's all that matters.
I'll be praying for you as your family tries to understand and cope with Daniel's challenges.
